If you are planning on going to Japan. Just don't go and go to zen Saigon. Best sushi in town . Great atmosphere with only Japanese people around ;) .
Real taste of Japanese foods and my fav is mix grilled rice bowl . True is not cheap compare to Sushi Bar but better quality here...I always have lunch every time when I visit Saigon!
Come for lunch and take the yuki bento , mix of yakitori , sushis , miso soup and maki with a complementary ice cream or coffee . Less than $10 and tasty. What else ?
Grilled salmon head & chicken wings are must-have options... but they need to work on the wasabi freshness (ours didnt hv enough kick)
Sashimi is really good.
My recommendation is chicken liver/heart, lamb rack , beef tongue

Yakidori is better than Sushi . Sake(vietnamese made) is cheaper than japanese sake also taste is better.
