Beautiful old space hidden in an alley between 1st and 2nd street. The Holly Golightly was a fantastic rum based cocktail with creme de peche, cardamom bitters and sherry .
One of the coolest cocktail bars I've been to. Great, unique atmosphere with wonderful cocktails . Anything exceptionally aromatic or spicy was particularly good
…If they’re busy, you might have to sit in the “library ” which is a small room with benches , but even that has a great vibe. Don’t be afraid to ask for help choosing a drink.
The Exterminating Angel cocktail was great, and the gin list very impressive! Find the wooden door in the alley (with a small sign)
I recommend "Dealers choice": Pick your fav base from the list and go with sweet, sassy or savory theme. The best option for the adventurous.
The elusive speakeasy . It not so easy to find. Entrance off of an alley btwn 2nd & 3rd. Bartender's choice is the way to go. Soak it up
I'd recommend going on a non-fri/sat night as they seem to fill up fast with only standing room on busy nights. Ask for the dealer's choice: what they mixed up was best cocktail I've ever had.
Great spot to get an exquisite cocktail or for a date... There is usually little bit of wait but in my opinion it is worth it..
Great cocktails and even better Bar tenders- ask for Matt James and he’ll make you something swell
Matt served me at the upstairs bar . Asked for something with bourbon and he delivered. Friendly , too. And glad someone saw me wandering on the street and helped me find this gem of a dive.
Súper cladestino!! The exterminating angel and the midwinter's garden excelentes!!!!
If you like sweet drinks in a dive bar that’s disguised as a speakeasy cocktail bar then you found it. Otherwise…pass
Google maps directions are wrong. It really is in the alley between 1st and 2nd. Worth finding. The cocktails are fantastic.
Good luck finding this place in the alley , or getting in, but worth the hassle for the classy cocktails and atmosphere
The Tuxedo is similar to a martini — super refreshing but very spirt-forward. ????????
Great hole in the wall . They make a mean old fashioned ! I also recommend doing the bartenders choice: Sassy scotch cocktail is always amazing!
I've got a new shot for you called the Johnny Vegas. Half oz Patron, half oz watermelon Pucker shaken poured into a 1oz of Red Bull . Twitter: @jared_kane tell me what you think
Best speakeasy I've ever been to. GIANT gin list and with the Dealer's Choice you'll get some fun drinks.
Tell the bartender what you like and they'll make a cocktail based on your response
Excellent place for a few drinks when out on a date. Bartenders are knowledgeable and will craft drinks to your personal tastes.
Truly an speakeasy style, great drinks and service. No food just delicious drinks.
Beautiful and intimate setting . The bartenders are amazing and really cater to your drink preferences.
Super chill spot and good drinks but, if you're use too the NYC speakeasies , think again, this place isn't at that level yet
Go during happy hour ! For a speakeasy the drinks were only $7 (HH)! Go for the custom created cocktails it's worth it.
It truly is in an alley between 1st and 2nd. Not a big sign except for door placard! Cool!
This winter's hot toddy combines brandy , agave nectar , and allspice dram for that Christmasy spice flavor. An IPA beer float on top cools it down for added drinkability. Read more
Hidden speakeasy in an alleyway. Small, but two levels with bars on both.
Five star cocktails in a cozy environment . Some interesting books on the left side of the bar
Great hidden cocktail lounge . I recommend the Dealers Choice - Whiskey - Savory.
The bartender , @MattJames_Bitch, has a great podcast: "How To Be A Better Drinker" https://itun.es/us/rRTH_.c
The most easygoing of the speakeasy set, rollicking Bathtub Gin—and especially the subterranean back room—is where icy Seattle finds its inner friendly . Read more
Matt is an artist . Get the Dealer's Choice. He made me my own incredible version of a gin greyhound :)
Good atmosphere
Really need to be patient to find this place. It is at a valley - opposite of a parking lot . But definitely a hidden gem .
Cool place but was severely disappointed by their Old Fashioned .. way too many horrible quality ice cubes. Pretty good whiskey list!
Nothing, bc we sat for 30 mins & didn’t receive our drinks while everyone around us got their 2nd. The waitress had an tude when she asked us for our order & then she never came back #diningwhileblack
The signature drinks are the truth. It's also a very tiny interior but romantic .
Tell the bartender what liquors and flavors like and you'll get something good.
Killer cocktails - try the Death Star.
Cocktails are great and it's a cool place for a date.
Cozy cocktail bar . They recommended me drinks, was good.
ladies... st. peters secret is delish!!! prosecco champagne , apricot brandy and hibiscus . this is what candy tastes like in your 20's
Just ask them to make you something in a teacup... You won't be disappointed.
Be smart, go on a weekday. Matt's a whiskey-wizard, seasonal cocktails are delish, don't be afraid to explore this intimate hideout.
The Death Star is my drink of choice here. That said for the lady who likes a little spicy kick , try a High Plains Drifter , interesting combo of sweet and spice.
I like speakeasy bars , good cocktails but seems to be more of a tourist place for tourists like me haha
Order dealers choice. Pick your poison and let them spin a new concoction for you.
Maxwell is an awesome bartender . Sit at the bar if you can
Don't tell many people about this place. It's too good to share with others. shhhhh (all drinks here are awesome!)
Hard to find since the entrance is next to a garbage can in the alley . Smooth drinks but very small. Going to have to wait your turn.
Aviation, Slave to the Grind (rum based frappuccino style cocktail) , oysters on the half shell. I'll definitely be back to try the speak easy upstairs - Kaitlin Martineau
The service is beyond outstanding. The drinks are delicious (try the chrysanthemum). The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. Make sure they know if it's someone's birthday. - Kailea Ball
So fun! The bartender are really good at finding new interesting drinks exactly to your taste. - Jordyn
Their ume-shu (plum wine) is the real deal & just as amazing as it was when I had it in Tokyo! - Sonya Salehnia
Go with the omakase. Also try their stir fry geoduck and sea urchin nigiri - Keri Ding
Great selection of pinball machines. Food options are quick, simple (hot dogs and nachos), and good for washing down with a cold beer. - Phill Ramey
