Buckfast Abbey is a church Devon England located in United Kingdom.
Buckfast Rd Buckfastleigh Devon TQ11 0EE United Kingdom

Abbey rebuilt in the 19th & 20th centuries on the site of the ruined abbey dissolved in 1539. Its Buckfast Tonic wine is thought to fuel violent anti social behaviour in Scotland due to high caffeine.
There is always a strong spiritual feeling even if you don't go inside the Abbey itself. Just sitting in the gardens or in front of the Abbey brings you closer to God
The most amazing gift shop and I found my name in the heritage book . ^_^ beautiful place. A little awkward with the monks wanting to get in a picture..
Lovely cafe , peaceful gardens & beautiful church . 3 shops, ideal for baptism/christening etc gifts . Lavender garden is fantastic.
If you need to get away from it all, this place is perfect. There is accommodation available - I found the place a life saver (don't get locked out through keys font work from 00:01 - 05:30
The monastic produce shop sells wonderful fudge , syrups , jams , soaps, perfumes. Calm gardens . Great restaurant for lunch & cream teas
The lunches at the conference centre are great, starve yourself before coming!
A visit is a must. It is lovely here
Great gift shop !
Take plenty of money as the shop is fantastic!
Going Here Soon!
The Grange is Buckfast Abbey’s restaurant and is well worth popping into if you’re around Dartmoor. Great for breakfasts but also offers a good lunch menu and homemade desserts - Tanya Peasgood
