The "French Picnic " continues to be one one my fav sandwiches in the hood (even tho it's also one of the simplest)

Great little sandwich shop . They have a small counter inside and a communal table outside . All of the sandwiches that I've tried were really good, made with fresh ingredients and on the spot.

I had the foggy piggy on the Baguette bread . The flavors were nice. Enjoyed the sweetness from the fig jam and the creaminess of the goat cheese .Will be going again.

Fantastic gourmet sandwiches . The Whit flies for lunch as well as breakfast , but should be ordered sans potatoes . Make sure you grab a container of Australian Feta from the cold case to take home.

Order their Steak’N’Bacon Eggalicious. It has house roasted beef , thick cut bacon , 2 eggs & jalapeños . Also get their Mexican Cuban - basically a Cuban but with pickled jalapeños & avocados .

Best sandwich place in alphabet city . The greatest American has saved my hung-over life several times. Also great selection of cheeses .

Barnyard classic with pickled jalapeños . Meats and cheeses are great for entertaining (try the Roaring Forties blue if they have it). Awesome and knowledgeable staff--same owners as Brix on 9th. Win!

The Chittle sandwich is famous! I got the Cuban for lunch ... Amazingly delicious but heavy, so easily shareable. Their house made chickpea salad was great too.

Get The “Award-Winning” Whit. It has 2 eggs , roast beef , bacon , cheddar , jalapeños , poblano home fries , cilantro , malon salt & super schoolie salsa .

Get their cold Roasted Chicken sandwich . It has roasted chicken breast , fresh mozzarella , avocado , greens, tomatoes & chipotle mayo on baguette .

Grab a Barnyard Classic (egg , bacon , cheddar , add avocado ) and an iced tea and go to the community garden around the corner to eat by the goldfish pond . Alphabet City 4evaz!

Mexican Cubano sandwich is amazing. They also have real deal Mexican glass bottle Coca-Cola.

They use flautta, a soft, flat portuguese-style olive oil bread delivered daily from Grandaisy Bakery unless otherwise indicated.
