Superior single room is great for a solo traveler looking for a central location. Modern room right in the middle of everything. If you get one to the rear of the hotel , it’s very quiet , too!
Amazing glimpse into what has been and is there no more. Old-school to the rotten core. Location and environment is brilliant though. Suspiciously full of African royalty.
The hotel is located to all the sights in the centre. The full English breakfast is delicious! Rooms are clean . There was 1 thing that I couldn't find fully satisfying, the doulbe bed's size, is small
Very good location. Lots of great restaurants and pubs nearby. A few minutes to Covent Gardens . One of our favourites.
Rooms are small, but nice and clean . Very good location. An Iron and ironing board are available upon request. Lots of theatres around.
Lovely place. Location is its best. Rooms are small but nice. I recommend it, I have been two times and i will repeat
Excellent value, great location, free wi- fi, no air con ( in london in winter it's not really an issue, so just ask for an high floor to avoid the noise of the Strand)
Super nice hotel with central location, good service , big tasteful breakfast and amazing gin bar .
Great location. Big, but comfortable hotel . Go with standard rooms.
Close to everything, walk to Piccadilly, Covent Garden , Chinatown.
Excellent staff , good value , free papers/magazines and comfortable bed . Only downside was the noise of the central heating
Very big towels. Beds are among the best I've slept on in London. We were very comfortable sharing a room with a sofa bed with our 11 year old.
Pretty decent tea at 13 pounds per person. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to try out high-tea :)
Really nice and affordable hotel in central London.
I always stay here. Small but well equipped rooms. Clean and tidy. Recommended for a short business stay.
The location is great but there is zero noise insulation . I could literally hear the phone vibration from the room next door, let alone the sounds from the streets. Not sure I would stay here again.
Great place for a quick coffee always has space and nice service
Location is the only real plus point
Great location, ask for a room at the back of the hotel instead of facing the Strand for a peaceful evening!
Very nice hotel with good location. The only negative thing is that the room is boiling hot and there is no air con !!
Great Location , very good breakfast , nice room. Highly recommend to anyone
Clean comfortable modern rooms . Great staff . Excellent location. Enjoy.
Great for single travelers though theres no mini bar . Small but got all i need.
Lovely hotel , good service . And close to covent garden 👍
Really handy for Covent Garden , Leicester square and lots of theatres . A handy base when visiting London.
good for cold days! breakfast is OK, not perfect! Internet and TV is free for Exc. room. perfect location!
Functional bar always with plenty of seating
The McDonald's version of the Savoy opposite: McSavoy. I quite like it though. Less pretentious . More real people. 'Hello, Bouquet residence.'
Great location, nice and clean rooms for a very reasonable price
Rooms are comfy and staff are good. No A/C. Get a room on a high floor to avoid street noise
Perfect lokation to stay in covent garden .
Loved staying here but the elevators seem to be in a crisis, they're the slowest ever!
Big hotel . Good location but it feels a bit ancient.
great value for money
Not bad - price & comfort
Convenient location and competitive pricing .
I understand that it's an old hotel , but it's out dated now and needs renovating. The location is what saves this place.

This is the worst hotel I have ever been. Rooms are small (5 square meters, it seems to me), bathroom is awful, and two bags with new things were stolen from my room by housekeeping!!!
Great location
Club singles are excellent value. Always book early and get breakdast elsewhere.
Corner rooms like 106 or 208 provide excellent value for money and Strand view .
Breakfast is amazing! Om nom nom ^_^
Thin walls so a noisy night!
Worst hotel . Do not stay here. Tiny coffin of a room with no heat and no noise insulation . Concierge sold us tickets TWICE to shows that did not exist. They charge 2 pounds for a tourist map!
Avoid drinking in hotel lounge bar , its really expensive and only offers bottle beer . Instead pop around the corner to The Hops bar which belongs to the hotel but It's much cheaper and serves pints.
V.location. Standard rooms are quite basic tho.....!
Exceeded my expectations, although no air conditioning .
The lack of air con really let's the place down. Apart from that, it's really quite pleasant.
It’s OK.....good location
Great staff and atmosphere. Consistently good American bistro cooking. A pre-theatre must. - Matthew Banks
Hip hotel. Good restaurant and bar. Rooms trendy and modern. Staff blowing the bugs away from recent opening and helpful. Near Tate modern for rest of London. - Bijan Young
Great views from all of the restaurants, but best from the Sky bar. Chic yet relaxed. Great place to wind down in the evening - Marisa Alexis
The wagyu burger is delicious! Much better than expected - as good as any burger anywhere else in London. Better. - David F
My favorite area, beautiful location. Close to Leicester square, and several great food stops. - Chelsea Bradley
Look for the performers in nautical. they have great quality. Also look for small corner cookies seller and taste hot cokkies with marsmellowed hot chocolate! - Y P
