Very very old school Coffeeshop worth an experience. Kopi-gu-you (coffee with a dollop of butter) is quite addictive. I like mine stronger and less sweet so I ask for Kow-siu-dai.
Old school coffeeshop . Try their coffee with butter . Kaya toast is one of the best I've had, it's thick and toasted over a charcoal fire!
Charcoal stove . One of the handful of places in SG still preparing ur kopi & kaya toast over charcoal heat. If u sit indoors, u will smell d unique smoke :-)
Oldest kopitiam in SG? Judging by d decor, shop has seated many kopi drinkers. Possibly d oldest I've come across. 'Kopi kia' uncle prepares kopi in his signature Chinese cotton pajama pants :-)
Experience a sense of nostalgia by having a cup of butter kopi at this very old school coffeeshop . The kaya toast is nice too!
Oldie but goodie, typical classic breakfast in a kopitiam, coffee with condense milk , soft boiled egg & kaya toast . Located at a medium redential area, this coffee shop still serving till now#CoffeeSG
Can be intimidating for non-locals. There's no menu, so make sure you do your homework if you want to have some Singaporean experience. I recommend the Kopi Guyu (coffee with butter ).
All the cooking is done on a charcoal stove . If you want to feel like you've gone back to the Singapore of 20 years ago, come for a kopi and kaya toast here.
Kopi "gu yiu" (what some Western cafes call bulletproof coffee ) is local coffee with a slice of butter. As badass old school as it gets 😬
Old school Coffeeshop with old school kaya toast . Thick toast with thick butter slice. Yummy!
Very old school local coffee and kaya toasts , a short 2mins walk away from the cheapest michelin star - Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle . Order the kopi with butter! yes butter!

The aromatic coffee with butter is a must try. Order with gusto. Kopi gyu yu Ji buay!
Epok epok (potato curry puff ) is $1 and sizeable. Best eaten when it’s freshly fried
Love the sound of the crispy toasted bread with the slice of butter on it. Old is def gold.
Singapore was doing bulletproof coffee before it was trendy . And Heap Seng Leong's kaya toast makes Ya Kun's taste like poo poo.
Just order the coffee with butter (kopi guyu ) and kaya toast . Simple yet delicious
We asked for 3/4 boiled eggs and it was one of the best we have had
Not just the bread , but the coffee is also cooked over charcoal stove . Butter in coffee , for the creamy effect!
For good ole kopi. Be prepared to be greeted by decades-worth of built-up smell though. It's heritage that's best experienced through taste and your nostrils.
Coffee and tea taste here is good. It taste like the olden days. The toast here is good too
Definitely old school. The kopi is delicious and only $1.
They have the best kopi butter in town !
The butter coffee is really unique and awesome.
must try their butter coffee , quite smooth...
So old school. Much loves from the old uncle.
Remember to add a piece of butter in the coffee .
Coffee with butter . Nothing else!
Come here to immerse in what kopi tiams used to be like. Food (limited) & beverages nothing to write home abt
Kaya toast and coffee is good here.
Love the kopi gu yu
Old 80s ambience
Kaya toast set is $4.80. Unlike usual portion, they serve 2 slices of toast. Filling actually - Cheen The Curious
Smoked salmon thick toast is amazing. Better try it! - Pat C.
One of the best Bak Chor Mees in the city. You can ask for more vinegar and more chili. I prefer mine with mee kia but some prefer mee pok or the flat noodles. - Ted Patrick Boglosa
标记沙爹is fantastic, must not missed, especially the pork Satay, rice, gravy...wonderful combination!! - SinDevils Thor
Awesome place, but must go during a cool day or in the evening - Charles Chua
