The Stage of Kiyomizu is a buddhist temple Kyoto Kyoto located in Japan.

It takes its name from the waterfall within the complex, which runs off the nearby hills . Kiyomizu means clear water/pure water.The stages is the access into the temple of Kyomizu-Dera#TravelingKyoto

The main reason why millions people come to here every year. The reconstruction is almost done. Yeah!
【国宝 】指定名称は「清水寺本堂」…徳川家光の寄進により寛永10年（1633年）に再建されたもの。屋根は寄棟造、檜皮葺きで、正面（南面）左右に入母屋造の翼廊が突き出し、外観に変化を与えている。建物の前半部分は山 の斜面にせり出すようにして建てられ、多くの長大なケヤキの柱（139本）が「舞台」と呼ばれるせり出し部分を支えている（釘は使われていない）。このような構造を「懸造」、あるいは「舞台造」と言う。
Wikipediaより-思い切って物事を決断することを「清水の舞台から飛び降りるつもりで」と言うが、清水寺の古文書調査によれば、実際に飛び降りた人が1694年から1864年の間に234件に上り、生存率は85.4パーセントであった。明治5年（1872年）に政府が飛び降り禁止令を出し、柵を張るなど対策を施したことで下火になったという。
拝観料は300円！唐辛子 屋さんの前にタクシー乗り場 。
一方通行の道でした。
本堂の中は日陰で風通しがよく涼しくて気持ちいい！
