Rooms were fine, but be prepared to pay a small fortune for the in house buffet . The diner across the street offers a much cheaper option for food.

Gorgeos location with floating glaciers and seals. You have to feel that during sunset, it's simply epic place. Very good spot for photo as well. - Milan Dufek
Take one of the glacier climbing tours that start from the Vatnajokull visitor's center. The views on top of this glacier are amazing! Also Game of Thrones and Batman Begins were filmed here! - Dark
