Everything was amazing and tasted so fresh. Loved the lamb special and steak tartare . Truffle fries were awesome, as was the side gnocchi with garden vegetables .
Crab with avacado as hors d'oeuvres, maine bouchot mussels steamed white wine for plats principaux or ask for salmon daily👍 sauted spinach with garlic and button mushrooms glazed with veal for sides❤
Great meal! Definitely start with the onion soup-best I've ever had! The chicken (below) also good but flavor profile similar to soup so if I had to do over, would choose a different main course.
A tour de force of brassiere classics. A reference point in both execution and service. A tremendous experience that will also “take you back”. Fantastic in every way.
Outdoor seating due to current pandemic. The truffle fries are definitely worth it. Had the Steak Frites - awesome. The french onion soup was great on a cold day. Definitely save room for desserts !!
The truffle risotto is worth every penny. Perfectly al dente rice , suspended in luscious cream topped with shaved truffles . I also got the mussels and they were a bit too mustardy for my taste
Consistently delicious. If you're not too hungry, it's a great place to grab a bowl of soup and enjoy some of their delicious baguette
Everything here is great. Try a half order of the Moules aux Poireaux (dip the bread !) so you can leave room for a couple smaller plates.
Bone marrow app. Compared to even the bev hills location, this dish sings perfection. Most marrow apps are too salty but this one is remarkably well balanced with hints of citrus , garlic and capers .
What a fantastic place. Great mussels , radishes and steak . Super atmosphere in a beautiful place. And the service is really good too. Totally recommended.
Best steak frites I’ve ever had
Go hearty w/ boudin blanc or pan-seared skate , or light w/ toasted barley salad . Dessert is a must: crème caramel is perfect. – Green Guide Editor
Nothing but the classics at Bouchon! When I am in Napa I like to share a plâteau de fruits de mer and Napa Valley wine with my close friend Thomas Keller .
To those of us who never thought Chicken and Waffles could be gourmet...we were wrong. The Bouchon brunch proves to be a delicious respite from your weekend winery tour .
Speciality includes Pâté de Campagne, Gigot d’Agneau & Profiteroles
Reservations very recommended. The breakfast sausage I ordered with my brunch was delicious and plentiful.
Loved the French onion soup , and the brisket - very nice experience overall. Also a good wine list !
Rhubarb tart and paper planes rose is a nice combo. Go after 10pm when it's cleared out
Have done everything from appi's at the bar to full blown meals. You cannot go wrong EVER here
Specialties: Raw seafood bar ; onion soup ; leg of lamb with beans; quiche ; steak frite ; profiteroles; pot de creme . Read more
Incredible pâté , meats, and chocolate mousse . Do not miss Bouchon in Napa.
Get the foie gras terrine . We even got one to go, and I don't think they normally do that. So good!
Some say no one in the U.S. does a better job with French bistro fare — duck confit , steak frites , bacon and onion quiches , croque-madame and towering plates of chilled, raw shellfish . Read more
Classic French cuisine too perfectly executed by Thomas Keller ' team. Try the gazpacho for appetizers and veal for the main course.
Fantastic take on French Bistro , the mussels , rib eye , and French onion soup were great.
Yes! Show up for lunch , even without a reservation , just in case they can get you in!
We all love truffle fries , but if a restaurant like Bouchon can enslave with its poulet rôti you can only imagine the pleasures of other French classics like Boudin Blanc and Coquilles St. Jacques. Read more
Don't worry if it's full, everybody has reservations , but you can stand by the bar and wait for a table. Oh yeah, don't mind about the faces at the entrance.
The bibb lettuce salad is simple, yet one of the most amazing things I've ever had.
Solid French bistro food. Loved the bread and butter here. Bone marrow is good.
I love French onion soup , but I've never tasted anything quite like this. Seriously amazing.
Truffle fries is tasty but no so fantastic. Steak is not bad, onion soup is so so. Overall a French bistro restaurant which is relatively rare in this region but quality leaves a bit to be desired.
Don't sleep on the fries . Thin but not shoestring, exquisite texture, and they manage to keep a potato flavor you usually only see in steak fries .
Incredible experience all around but holy mackerel , BEST Brussels sprouts I've ever eaten.
Rabbit Rillet and Bacon Eggplant Quiche are amazing! The Pot de Creme with Honey and Fig is out of control delicious!
Their truffle season specialties are DELISH with hue amounts of truffle .
Cahors, Clos La Coutale (80% Malbec and 20% Merlot ) is an excellent wine for a very reasonable price.
Great classic-modern French bistro food, alez enfants!
CIA grad Spike Mendelsohn worked at Bouchon, which not only serves French cuisine , but has a unique wine list as well .
truffle risotto and beef tartar were great and overpriced. bread was 😑
Open 'til midnight on Sundays (and every day)!
The truffle fries are a must. The $18 is worth it.
Service was lacking for a Keller/M Star place. The escargot and their halibut special were excellent.
Wife found a stone in her food, rather than a comp meal we got a couple take home desserts . Wife had diarrhea afterward. For the money and the ownership we expected better. Will never return/promote..
The service, truffles French fries , steak , desserts .
My God these truffle oil fries . Best fries I've ever had, bar none.
There is nothing about this place that I don't like. It's consistently my favorite restaurant in America.
James and Sabrina are top notch bartenders . They have great cocktails not listed on the menu rolling around in their brain. Make sure you try something new
Excellent for late night oysters and Champagne ; perfect place for a night cap.
Save room for dessert !
The Foie Gras is worth it and the mussels were perfect. The understated tomato soup is a local favorite. - Tyler Tanner
Fabulous restaurant. Chef Chiarello is fabulous in many ways! Thank you for the experience of a singular evening. - Gloria Park Bartolone
Superfood bowl is incredible, with lovely outdoor patio seating and excellent wrecking ball coffee, lovely mocha and Cortada - Eric Haeussler
One of my favorite places for wine tasting. Where else to get to sample great wines from different vineyards? - Stephen Hau
