Historic place with a view !!! Those stairs will not prevent you to go up and believe me it's worth it!!! And if you're Indonesian there's a little oleh2 shop on the right side with Indonesian spg ????
Part of UNESCO world heritage site . Love the sight of the remains of St Paul Church . Lots of shops around the site to explore. A must to visit in Macau.
It's pretty beautiful and has historic values, but the fire only left one wall for us to see. There's a small museum there, displaying several paintings and statues .
The ruins are amazing, It's great to see the remnants of the architecture , but it makes you wish we could keep sites like this better intact.
The standing facade of St Paul's Church . Beautiful and you can enter to see the crypt too but please be silent. Very crowded when tour groups come.
Crowded during daytime. One of the place you can visit in Macau besides its Casino 's. 30-40 HKD taxi ride from Venetian. Pass by square first before heading to St Paul Ruins
One of the historic must see sights in Macau. It does get really crowded with tourists though. The old paved steps leading up to the ruins are lined with loads of touristy snack shops.
Great place for my macau trip . You can have a chill and calm time with boiled fishball and tsingtao beer in front of the ruin during the night that is safe and beuatiful. I miss that time so much ;)
Amazing area of the city !
Tones of people but this is Macau .mix of Hong Kong, China +crumbles of Portugal .unique .and a useful tip:no toilet paper in public toilets ;)self service machines outside to purchase the tissues:)
The historic center of macau. Just walk from senado square , find this ruin, and continue your histical walk to the castle at the top of the hill . How picturesque places
One of Macau’s best-known landmarks , this site is listed as a UNESCO Heritage Site , with elements dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries.
You must visit this historical place when you are in Macau ! Sit on the steps and don't miss to take a few photos.
It gets crowded every day. Try to visit the ruins by late afternoon so you can get good shots.
Take the picture from the bottom of the stairs instead from the top. Its easier to get the whole church in the picture
Try taking a photo to the right side, less people in your way and directly in your shot of the facade.
There is always a lot of people around. But good place to visit for short gateway and nice egg tart to taste.
A must when visiting Macau. Beautiful - make sure to walk up to the top.
Dont forget to fill your tummies with "free taste" food on the way to the ruins. Their tapa is the best!
When you stand in front of it and facing the opposite, you'll notice the great view of it
In your way up to the Church , you'll pass by many shops in which you can buy "Pasalubongs" especially the marked down price perfumes. Chinese New Year is the best time to shop here.
Love it here. Walking up hill is really worth it!
Don't eat ahead when you come here. There are plenty bakeries at the foot of the ruins that offer their delicacies as you climb up. Oh, bring water:)
Old portugese church that got burnt down, alot of tourist taking picture, small alleys, something to do with chinese and portugese past relationship.
You better be early for a decent shot or a sea of people will overwhelm you. Dont wear samba shoes here as the road is slippery
go here in the morning time. you can have this ruin all yours. take as much as photos you want. i've been there in the morning time and jogging. it's GREAT!
great location to take picture is on the right side in the bottom of ths stairs!
Church . Well piece of church . Anyway it makes you feel like you're in Europe.
An awesome landmark with an interesting tale…
Nice place to see. It can get very busy during the day tho
Complimentary shuttle bus no 10 from the Galaxy takes you right into town . Then it is a short walk to the ruins
Very crowded on weekends. You'll need to have great skills to achieve a tourist-esque photo haha
Pastelaria Koi Kei all over the place. That means, there are PORKS all over the place. YUM.
Sit on the steps for a rest and people watch
Don’t go during weekends, too crowdy. But if you do, there’s a pathway to pass thru with just some people around ????
Head to the ruins early to avoid the crowds!
dont forget to visit the little temple just at the back of the ruins... also visit museo de macau :)
