Pricy and crowded beach , but worth it. Sandy and good for swimming , but watch for the currents, especially if the tide is on the way out. Park in town and walk up as the village is lovely
Look out for the hilarious boards outside the beach cafe .
Wells gets very congested and it is hard to park . Use the car park at the beach . It is expensive , £8.50 for the day, but big enough to guarantee a parking space .
worth the walk to get to holkham beach . bring weather proofs, thermos and sarnies if visiting out of season as it gets very windy and wet
Look out for the hilarious boards outside the beach cafe and the 'Wag and wash".
Lovely beach silky soft White sand . Lots of dogs and happy people.
Park at the quayside, walk to the beach , catch the train back!
Don't eat the sand. Even though there's lots of water you can't drink it.
Beautiful early morning in high season, before it gets too crowded .
Very soft sand :-)
Try to see the Seals!
