I didn't know beached whales existed in Idaho but I found out otherwise while I was taking a gander at the grass by the lake .
Come down and watched the sunsets , bring a friend, snack and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake !
I don't remember so many rich preppy kids frequenting the hill , but it's still a nice place for sunning yourself after a swim !

Swim off the city steps. Dry in the grass next to the stone bench underneath a warm sun.
Sometimes its really hard to find a place to park . Take the bus if you want to avoid parking problems and fees.
There's a great little "river " for the tots here to splash around in!
