Britain's longest continual bar . Beautiful pub that is listed on the national inventory of historic pub interiors. Great real ales .
In 1988 the building was classified by Historic Scotland as a Category A building of historic importance to safeguarding it from the ravages of modernisation.
A Glasgow institution. Billed as the longest continual bar in Europe , it serves a wide range of real ales at affordable prices , serves good wholesome food and has a great atmosphere to boot.
You meet the best people. Everyone by the end of the night knows your name and the karaoke by ray and eddy is superb. Best night ever x
A top bar . Fast service , never have to wait long as the bar staff know whats going on. Good real ales that change over every few weeks.
The karaoke upstairs was one of the best things I've ever seen in my entire life 🎤
Glasgow legend, definitely one to visit while you are in the city
Apparently longest running bar in Europe . Good beers and ok food
Cracking little boozer and friendly staff
Been here for three hours. Drunk generously. We have waited to sing for more than two hours and a half and we didn't get a chance. The dj is such an asshole. Avoid this place if you are not his friend
Shame it’s a chain , it’s a really interesting bar
The karaoke guy is an asshole. A massive one.
Steak was good, good Tennents ! Stay downstares at the bar .
Catch up pintage with an old pal.
Looks busy but there are usually seats further round the bar....don't be scared!
Cool bar . Lots to look at
Classic bar .
UK's longest bar desk. 100ft long
Cheap and tasty!
Very grumpy bar staff
Fosters super chiled 2:45 a pint
Great cheap, low key pub for a drink or lunch with a quiet eating area tucked away in the back. Calamari is wonderful. - Sean Brown
You can't beat a weatherspoons pub for good grub, quick service and a decent pint. I frequent the Counting House and they have excellent service. Love the Beer Burger and Chips deal too, a bargain !! - Stuart Welsh
Popular, spacious pub with rich dark wood interior. Be sure to try the macaroni cheese! - Daisy Swain
Wonderful whiskey selection. Give the full menu a look over or just ask for a recommendation. - Lauren McS
