Very impressed with this smaller museum . They have wonderful exhibits and a wide variety of art not just paintings . If you visit rockland and not visit here shame on you for missing something unique
The most interesting elevator (has two benches & three paintings in it) & a beautiful (dark lacquered wood) bathroom . Not to mention an extensive collection of Wyeth family paintings & illustrations.
Small art museum with a fascinating history. If you love Andrew Wyeth’s work, this place is a must see. A lot of contemporary work which is neither significant nor good.
One of America’s best small art museums . Strong on the Wyeth family of course.
Featuring a large collection from the quintessentially American Wyeth family of artists . Visit the Farnsworth Homestead next door. – Green Guide Editor
