The park map indicates the length of Tyhead Perimeter Trail Loop is 4.8 km and takes 90 min ; in fact it's only about 3.5 km and takes about an hour to complete the loop!
Watch out for the verses from Wolf’s “The Lilac and the Apple Tree ” unfold as you walk around the park .
The signs say that the serpentine loop trail takes approx 50 min, it's more like 30 and no real viewpoints so we didn't stop a lot. Nice place to get out of the city for awhile tho
Lots of dogs to play with on weekends! But can get really muddy after rainy days. There are plenty of hoses to wash off your dog though
Great place to run or walk. It also has a dog off-leash area. And don't miss the Great Salmon Run on May 12, 2012! Read more
Lovely trails . Great place to walk and forget the world.
If you need to use the washroom, they are great here. Solar powered and they have hand sanitizer!
Please keep your dogs on leash, abundant wildlife here.
Off-leash in designated areas.
