Nice independent theatre that specializes in classic movies and independent films . The screens are small but the seats are comfy .
I am by not a Kiera Knightly fan, although she gets props for having crooked teeth and no breast implants. However, this film was a thoroughly enjoyable. And I thought Mark Ruffalo was great!
Great place for quasi solitary viewing during the day. Very comfortable seats and great film selection and festivals
Love that there is an artsy film house in Westchester. No need to head into the city anymore to see your favorite independent films !
Very pleasant venue - clean and large comfortable seats .
Parking difficult. Many meters only 2 hours. Best to park in the residential neighborhood down Washington Ave, beyond the parking meters.
Great place for special events and for foreign films .
Don't miss the annual Italian Film festival every June. You'll find a diverse blend of some of the most timeless Italian cinematic masterpieces.
After the opening night we went to Macarthurs with a dozen people to discuss the film with the curator of the festival . What fun.
Check out the Rube Goldberg machine next to theater 2 on your way out
This is a terrific movie house! Clean , well run, very courteous staff . And...GREAT movies !
Best movies ; great staff ; gorgeous theaters
THE spot for independent cinema . JBFC also hosts discussions and out-of-the-box educational programs.
Great independent movies and small intimate theaters
I went here on a Wednesday nite & saw the last show @ 10:15 pm. Needless to say i practically shared the entire movie theater w/ 2 other strange birds like myself. Seats did NOT tilt back. ????????
Great selection of films !
Best movie theater around. Most comfortable seats and they show great movies !
Good movies and also some with interview's with the director.
People who don't live nearby should know these theaters are tiny and they often sell more tickets than available seats. The worse is that they don't offer credit or refunds. Horrible customer service
A SEPARATION; MANCHESTER BY THE SEA
Best theater to see Independent films in Westchester County .
Saw Crazy Heart. Even though it was front row, all good. Such a cool theater.
Free small popcorn on checkin. Awesome!!!
Bring your student ID
This place is a gerontocracy.
Not sure what's up but theater 2 is starting to smell kind of rank. :-(
When other theaters are sold out you can always get a ticket here. Not modernized but otherwise pleasant. Nice go to. - Felix Tapia
This is the best place to volunteer! We love it. Come down and check it out :0) - shaydie cammann
Good food, large space. Welcome atmosphere. Great addition to Pleasantville - Lina
One of the few Independent bookstores left in Westchester. Also one of the finest in the area. Shop & support your local stores. It's so great to have such a wonderful addition to downtown Pville. - Jack W Perry
