Spare ribs lovely. Even better than brisket . Tender with a good amount of fat & really flavourful, with a great sweetness from the fat. Meat close to bone so the spices penetrated this meat the best

Pulled pork pulled just before serving - a first. Same spices as brisket & ribs so spicier than normal pulled pork . Coarsely pulled so it was chunkier than usual pulled pork , but still quite tender.

Brisket really tasty. Nice fat & tender. Bratwurst had good knack; meaty & juicy, though a bit firm. Only bad item: pinto beans with beef tallow. Too firm, not much taste. Plain to offset the meats?

Thanks to covid they're only doing daily specials on weekends - always beef rib & sometimes burnt ends . You order by weight & you can get really small portions (e.g. I got just one bone of spare rib )

Their BBQ sauce & mustard are home made . BBQ was alright - quite tangy & mustard was excellent: with seeds, fiery yet with a good tartness and a slight sweetness.

There was free pickles & pickled onion . The pickles were ok - a bit thin. The onion was great - fresh & with crunch.

Finally a real bbq spot in Newmarket/Aurora. Can’t wait to come back here
