I love it here. Been loads of times and keep going back. Good yummy food and the service has always been quick when I go :)
Great Japanese food and beer at good prices. Soups are great and noodles are very tasty. Very friendly staff ! Will be back
Was really excited to try some good ramen , the place looks great and the service is friendly . However the food did let us down a little, the ramen was just fine and the donburi a bit plain... :(
The original Ichiban which opened its doors in June 1998, was quickly followed by a sister branch in the west-end of the the city in 2002.
Go for one of their blooming teas . Both delicious and visually stunning ???? ????
The chicken katsu was overdone, the tempura a bit bland although the beef skewers were tasty. Pickled Ginger is still the sushi restaurant to beat in Glasgow.
Love this place! I had a hand in the original branding and design way back when the two ichiban's first opened in Glasgow
Really cool Japanese restaurant with a lot of options beyond sushi and a nice lunch menu bundle
Best and most cheap Sushi bar in Glasgow city . Casual Japanese place, not to busy and not to quiet . I just love it here!
Good ramen but not the best in Glasgow. Gyoza were small and deep fried to crisp nothing left of them. Service very good and restaurant is clean and well looked after.
Really great ramen and chilis. Also the teas are very delicious and look cool!
Amazing salmon sushi . Portions are very generous in size. Loved the friendly staff there.
Had fried rice (lunch deal ), no wow factor I would say. Salmon sushi not that fresh. Will try their udon in my next visit, perhaps?
Perfect for lunch ! The chicken katsu curry is amazing!
Excellent good, bento box is amazing, service is pleasant but slow
Excellent ramen with grilled Salmon .
Try the chicken chilli with rice - SUPER! It is reasonably priced!
I had a really tasty chicken katsu curry . Tuna nigiri wasn’t as good.
Very good chef . Good atmosphere, and gorgeous waiters .
Bento boxes and Ramen . Also lemongrass&alike and passion fruit&guava sorbets .
So many options! I loved the bento box and it tasted really authentic !
Ask what the "season vegetables " are before ordering them...I was served with a big plate of hot cabbage ... Ouch!
Very good value for money lunch menu !
Everything! I suggest the squid side dish.
Great service and well priced sushi .
Great wee place with great food
Get the lunch deal on week days: main course and a side of sushi for £6.90
Bento box .
Noodles are tasty
The greatest place in Glasgow! Udon soup ftw.
Great place for lunch
Ramen is microwave quality. Pass on this one.
Not eatable at all except the chicken corn soup
Kaizen Rice & Tako Nigiri
Great Japanese restaurant. Order the California Maki and sea bass tepanyaki. - Senite8
Absolutely fantastic Japanese restaurant. The sashimi is amazing, the tempura delicious and the udon wonderful. - Mike Anderson
Great vibe and excellent food. The Chicken Karaage was divine. Try the black sesame ice cream as well, it’s delicious! - Kevin Dulin
The place (a 6-story building)is really nice, with different screen sizes, the middle of which is similar to those in Dubai Mall. I tried different cinemas accross Europe. By far Cineworld is the best - Saud Alghizzi
Friendly staff and great pulled pork! Beer is nice and the atmosphere is cosy - Natacha Bielikoff
No trip to Glasgow would be complete without a visit to modern Scottish institution Brewdog. The burgers are outstanding, the best I’ve had anywhere for ages! - AJ Stevenson
