Mount Battie is breathtakingly GORGEOUS. Be sure to go when it's sunny! And check out the stone castle turret that gives you an even more amazing view when you get to the top! Try taking a hike too :)
So glad we took the scenic route from Portland to Bar Harbor . This view is breathtaking and well worth the price to enter the park !
If you take the Mt. Battie Trail , the way up is fun and challenging. View is amazing! But way down is a little treacherous and it's easy to get lost. Keep the way down in mind!
Great spot for photos. Go up the tower, but best photo location is over to the left of the parking . Also this is a great day hike .
The perfect place for a lunch on the rocks - Especially a sandwich and chips from French and Brawn in Camden or Dot's in Lincolnville. Don't forget, to drive up, it costs a few bucks a person.
It was a fun & difficult hike . The view was awesome at the top! (Even if it was foggy)
The best view of Penobscot Bay . I have hiked this mountain many times and can't get enough of it
Go an hour before sunset and the light is amazing on the boats in the harbor !
Beautiful hiking trail , good variety for levels of trails
Great hike ! Great during the winter too!
Drive up and have a 360 degree view !
nice views . You can drive up and down.
It has the best view of Camden!
Take the hike from here to the top of Magunticook. It's worth it.
Great place for a picnic lunch !
I got married up here. THAT's how gorgeous it is.
Beautiful!
Outhouse clean and friendly
