Very typical old fashioned cafe in Trieste. It is worth a stop

Tea drinkers will find here a great selection of leaf tea . They have black, white, green and infusions on offer. Have a traditional biscuit to go with it in this caffe and bookstore .

The lamb was tender and succulent, the red wine pairing recommended perfect and the espresso afterwards powerful. Lovely setting and ambience.

We visited Trieste as tourists and it immediately stole our hearts! This caffeterie is cherry top of the cake , beautiful, nice historic interior and nice staff with style, definitely reccomended! <3

I mean...yeah the atmosphere is perfect. The coffee on the other hand is just ok. And I'd expect it to be great for 2,5€ for a cappuccino . Also 5€ for a tiramisu ? I guess i'll stick to the books .

Come here for the nostalgic interior, and an espresso . Unfortunately almost no books in English language.

Caffè d'atmosfera, qualche buona offerta di intrattenimento. In momenti critici servizio un po' lento, ma tutti i camerieri sono gentilissimi. Menù abbordabile per tutte le tasche.

Tornata qui 2 volte, a distanza di tempo per fare colazione con il mio ragazzo, il servizio non è cambiato: camerieri disorganizzati e per due caffè si aspetta minimo 20-30 min. Caffè storico dove?
