Despite its 12 km distance from Elounda, it worth's a visit as it is one of the most important and protected wetlands in Greece.

The beach is named after the river that runs into the sea there, so the water on the far left side of the beach is much warmer. (you can still feel the cold currents, but don't let that put you off!)

Einer der besten und saubersten Sandstrände in der Mirabellobucht. Absolutes Karibikfeeling!

Отличный пляж с очень приятным песочком! Идеально для отдыха с детьми , т.к. долго мелко. Наверху классный бассейн, но занимать лежак можно только если купите что-нибудь в баре. Приятного отдыха !

На пляже сильный ветер, менее ветренно на маленьких пляжах в городе , лежак 2,5 евро, зонтик 2 евро. Отличный заход в море и белый песок . Есть туалет , немного грязноват.

Июль 2018 - лежак 2,5 евро, зонт 3 евро, но после 16.00 зонт бесплатно. Из за впадающей в море речки вода прохладнее, чем на других пляжах .
