Enjoy any of their croissants (sweet or savory), or pick up bread for a dinner party! Though there's a lot of traffic, there's always a table to work (and Wi-Fi) and the staff is super friendly .
Best spot for in the area to get your PSL fix. Be sure to pick up a croissant (especially the almond croissant if you're early/lucky enough) You won't regret it!
The Cherry Pan Dolce ($7) is very good. I think they only make 4 at a time and they sell out quick. They let us reserve one when we went in to pick up 30 mins later when they were done.
The Miche is their signature bread , but everything is baked fresh that morning so you can't go wrong.Try everything! The croissants are known for their amazing crispy flaky crust and buttery insides
The croissants are perfectly flaky and crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside all at the same time! The almond chocolate croissant was perfect. Has free wifi and a great outdoor space .
Top notch bakery . Go for the giant croissants
Perhaps the best breads in the city . While everything really is great here, I go for the miche , but often get the campagne as it is easier for a morning toast . Do try the carrot and onion tartine .
Artisanal breads and pastries worthy of Paris - and Portland, Ore., where the talented baker Zachary Golper learned his trade. They use a traditional approach to bread making...small batch mixing Read more
The Tebrike pastry is absolutely delicious. Never ate this anywhere else. For the coffee though better to go around the block to Blue Bottle in my opinion.
amazing amazing amazing.. You'll be very tempted by all the artisanal breads and pastries .. Try the Athena on sunflower seed bread and the pain de chocolat..the free wifi is just an added bonus!
Village Voice is proud to welcome Bien Cuit to the 2014 Choice Eats food fest! http://bit.ly/1cRzdNV. The Sicilian Breakfast Pizza is a thick square of warm pastry and tomato-ey goodness.
Awesome selection of teas including Harney & Sons (my fave). The variety will please anyone-they carry it all from South African Rooibos to pomegranate oolong. Not selling jams & jellies currently.
The pain de mie (not miche ) is quite possibly the best toast bread you'll ever have. Buttery. Heavenly. Perfection. As for pastries the apple cardamom Danish is divine as is the plain croissant .
The chocolate croissant is made of infinite layers and filled with just enough chocolate to satiate your sweet tooth. They serve Joe coffee !
Best bread and croissants in America. Quiet nice classic French bakery . Bien Cuit made my day today.
Great lunch spot . Turkey croissant ,passion fruit .sesame cheesecake are great for dessert
Turns out some of the best breads and pastries in the city . Perfect croissants , miche and our summer was spent obsessing over the cantaloupe and chocolate tart . Critics' choice for best pastries !
Amazing croissants and bread , free WiFi (pw: croissant ) and friendly staff .
One of the best croissants in the city .
If I were a loaf of bread , I would have liked to be baked here.
Great place to sit and get work done for a few hours. Delicious pastries , too! I recommend the cucumber sandwich for a light lunch .
Good coffee . Pastries are sometimes burnt. All croissants are huge and good value . Nice decor
Bien Cuit can do no wrong; their first day in business and they are ready to rock with amazing breads and pastries , coffee , teas and a lovely staff as well ! Artichoke goat cheese wins the prize.
We’re not sure what we love most – the Pain Au Raisin Brioche or the Bergamot & Prune Danish . So we suggest you get both, and a Malted Muesli Cookie for the road !
Can't go wrong with anything baked here. Croissants , Chive Pain Au Lait and Broa De MIlho are all amazing and musts to purchase.
Coffee is pretty good. Free Wi-Fi: "croissant " is the password. Good coffee music and a decent seating area
Delicious, though somewhat overpriced, breads and pastries . Im especially a big fan of their assorted croissants .
Best almond croissants in New York, hands-down. Not to mention perhaps the best regular croissant too.
Incredible French pastry and very good breads . The aroma of butter you smell in the air may haunt you once you leave.
Lovely place to sit and have breakfast , with fresh croissants and great iced coffee . The quiche is delicious too.
Best local spot in Brooklyn! Classic Almond croissant for early birds or call them to reserve them!
Awesome place for coffee and croissants either the morning type it the savory sandwich at lunch with turkey .
It pains me a little to say this of my favorite bakery , but it seems the quality has slipped since the "pastry chef wanted" sign went up in the window. Maybe give it a wait until they find someone new
Pastries , try a bread sample, cute little seating area. Get the mulled cider .
Best croissants and challah in NYC. Get there early Friday's for the challah for Shabbat
Croissants are cooked nice and dark, for crisp tops and bottoms but airy centers; the miche is seriously crusty and full of character. Read more
If u live in BK Heights, it's worth the 0.5 mile walk to come here to study. Great sandwiches and coffee , free wifi , good-looking people. Do it.
I know when you think meatballs and lingonberries , your mind goes to the famous Brooklyn institution IKEA, but believe it or not, the baguette sandwich here is EVEN BETTER.
You honestly can't go wrong with any baked good here. Especially love the ham and Brie croissant !
Love the pastries and light-bites here.
Pretty much all the pastries here are delicious. Own personal faves include the apple cardamom danish and the almond croissant .
They have possibly the best croissants in NYC. Matcha latte is also top notch.
Their croissants are a must have, try the chocolate almond croissant if you're in the mood for something sweet.
The plain croissants are as good (if not better) than anything I've had in France. The loaves of bread are equally outstanding.
One of the top 3 best bakeries in Brooklyn. Coffee is also excellent. Recommended!
Pizza with no cheese…how…and more importantly, why? But the Sicilian Breakfast Pizza is a thick square of warm pastry and tomato-ey goodness.
Come to Bien Cuit for lunch and try out rotating sandwiches like roast beef , muenster , caramelized onions , and horseradish mayo . Read more
We'd go for tarts , croissants and pains au chocolat ; these beautiful pastries will leave you weak in the knees. #1 on Tejal Rao's 10 Best Pastry Shops in New York!
Cute cafe , good coffee , and great selection of pastries
top tier croissant , everything is quite literally “well done” so just don’t be surprised
A surprise place to meet a friend for breakfast. Peaceful, delicious. Get the baked eggs and a biscuit, scone or muffin with your artisanal tea or Stumptown coffee - Alice Griffiths
There's the Italian loaf, and the old fashioned Italian loaf. The regular one is good, the old fashioned is amazing. - Rafe
