After a bad stay last year we tried again (newer side). Had a great room and great experience this year! When the park is crowded its worth staying here overnight!
Stay here, get in early! Getting in one hour before the park opens means you get to ride your favorites, without a long wait ! And did we mention you're staying just steps from the park ?
The best thing about staying here is the location and the early entry to the park . Enjoyed views of the park , too.
Lovely hotel with great access to the parks . It's exactly what you need for a weekend of roller coasters and beach time
Stayed on the 9th floor of the towers section, everything has been great so far! Room was updated and very clean :)
This place is worth it for the tickets, free parking , proximity to entrances and early entry. Beware of the two twin girls wandering the hall beckoning you to "come play with us" - proceed w/ caution
Great location on the CP peninsula with easy access to the middle of the park and all of Soak City ! For a few extra dollars, the added convenience is great!
It may not be the Ritz but I've been here every year since I was little. It's character and charm is well worth the price. And being let into the park early isn't a bad convenience either. :)
This is a Fabulous hotel by far the BEST HOTEL around the cedar point area...... Right off the beach , only a 5 min not even walk to the park , fridays everything is right Here!
Stay in the old part for an elegant time trip :) very cool old building with clean rooms and friendly service . Five stars!
This place is not a dump . I love staying here. So much for kids and adults to do. It's right on the beach . If you stay here you get discount tickets and early entry to the park
They've remodeled, rooms are much nicer. Convenient place to stay when going to Cedar Point and Soak City .
Unless you are in the newer section then the rooms are very old. But you do get to be "right on point" which is worth it with kids. Free wi fi in lobby.
Perfect location, right on the water. Clean , with great customer service. Decorated for Halloween !
There's a lot to enjoy and do here, and the location is amazing, but the other comments about the place being a dump are correct. This place looks like it hasn't been renovated since the 70s
Want to live it up? Grab a few of your friends and chip in for a Horizon Suite overlooking Lake Erie!
Staying right now on the concierge floor. Room definitely needs updating. The holiday inn expresses I just stayed at were better. I understand the convenience part but I'm paying a lot.
Nice room with great access to the pool and entrances to the beach and parks !!
A really nice hotel to stay at while you are on vacation
10th floor concierge level is worth it.
Our room in the old section of the hotel is surely fitting for Halloweekends; very old and creepy! No place to charge our phones without unplugging one of the lights or tv , except for in the bathroom .
The newly remodeled rooms are gorgeous.
Beautiful historic hotel right on the beach .
Not sure about the renovated part. But the tower is sketchy . Had to change rooms. Beds were filthy, staff super friendly switched us. Out of date rooms. But it's a great location that's what u pay for
This hotel is not by any means grand. The only perk is the location to the park (less than a two minute walk). We stayed in the old section and it was average.
While this hotel is in DESPERATE need of a makeover, the price you are paying isn't for luxury ... It's for convenience to the park .
Only positive "luxury " to this "Resort " = park entrance/Soak City is within short walking distance. Otherwise, rooms GROSSLY overpriced. Updates/renovations needed for whole hotel .
Don't stay here. Payed almost 300 bucks a night for two twin beds. Super outdated and the Tv is basically from the 1980s. Could get better at a motel . Only good for getting in the park early.
Rooms are so old! TV is from 1980 and there was no soap no shampoo no conditioner no toilet paper no towels. Mattress is stained, pillows are flat- only had 4 pillows for a 5 person booked stay. Smh
Housekeeping service very late for some reason, still making up rooms at 5pm!
Always ask for rooms in the Tower!
Spend $20 in the hotel gift shop and get yourself a FREE 2010 Cedar Point T-shirt!
Its amazing but try to get a good room
Rooms are old! Not "resort " at all! Expensive prices should mean at least getting towels in the room and hopefully toilet paper without requesting.
Worst hospitality . Terrible rooms for the price. Not worth the proximity to the park . In house restaurants have bad food and even worse service. Save your money, stay elsewhere.
This place is a dump ! It's nice to be in the park but the room is musty and dirty . For what they charge, they can afford to fix it up.
You pay for the location. Hotel is pretty normal.
I agree this place is a dump and for 200 bucks a night, not worth it!!
Incrível experiência de hospedagem praticamente dentro do Cedar Point, funcionários prestativos, quarto espaçoso, camas confortáveis, boas opções de refeições (Starbucks e Friday's) super recomendado
Rooms has usable fridge/freezer microwave. Room coffee is small with pods but overall not bad. Beds comfortable with 4 pillows. Found dust and marks in random spots. Not bad but not amazing. - Mikaelia
I love this place! Try their Caramel apple pie, so freakin' yummy! ???? - Rowda AlQahtani
Nice beach. Always kept well combed. Volley ball nets, cabanas, restaurants for easy access to food and drinks. Great place to relax during your Cedar Point visit. - Scott Landers
