I love this place, the water is so clean that you feel like swimming in a pool! In the weekends (and I guess also during high season ) it gets really crowded

Swim to the other side of lagoon (opposite to the crowded one), there is small beach there and there is a cave you can swim through and swim out outside of the island . Fantastic experience.

Skip the near side, crowded and packed with chairs etc. Swim to the other side and check out the pass through cave , bring a mask and snorkel . You will - not - be disappointed.

Best beach ever, water is very clear surprisingly because it can be very crowded . There is a locker on the side €5 for a small one for a day

A great place. To avoid on rush hours. If you spend a night in Comino, you can come here after 6pm or before 10am, when all the tourist are back to their resorts .

Go early before 10,000 Italian tourists surround your personal space making you feel like you're in a sardine can.

Really beautiful, but really busy. Not a spot where you can lat down and relax next to the sea. But if you want to check it of your list just pass by for 1-2 hours.

A must see for everyone coming to Malta, thus amazingly crowded . The food trucks and party boats are making the whole experience even worst. Cross the island for more relaxed beaches !

Make it the LAST point to visit on your tour of the bays , NOT the first - gets too full of us tourist types! You can easily see why it's called Blue ;)

Needs no further recommendation but a true treat in Malta. Worth all the hassle to get here from the main islands .

Get early! Get watershoes the rocks to the water are insane. Go to the opposite island Cominotto its much better. Take the ferry from Cirkewwa. Queues are aweful. If you're here, go to St Niklas Bay

Felt like a fish . Avoid when crowded if you want to enjoy this spot. It's so peaceful and silent. You can spend hours there without noticing

Magical place with the bluest water ???? I've ever seen. And a nice surprise - food has quite the volume and yet the prices are the same as everywhere else in Malta.

Full of people, but still worth a visit. Try coming on weekend instead of the week as it is slightly less crowded . Also very rocky so grab a pair of water shoes with you.

Amazingly crystal water! The food is only fast food but you can buy some fruits as well :)

The biggest disappointment of our holidays. The place is a big pile of stones with NO beach . People all over. A big crowded stone. Water looked nice, if you come by private boat it could be nice

Shame !!! Beautiful place water so clear, spoilt by tourism far to many people there, looks like a festival to many boats there, not an inch of space to sit, deck chair n brollie 25 euro..

Worth walking a bit to find different coves further along to avoid the crowds. Do swim across and through the 'cave ' on the other side.

Stunning but go early in the morning to avoid the masses. Don't leave Gozo without seeing it.

Perfect location for enjoying sea. Be there at 10am or before and leave at 1pm. Way overcrowded after noon

Almost no place to sit free. Sunbed costs 5€. But sea is incredible! Blue clean water, fantastic view , small fishes .

In a million years go on a kayak tour instead and see grottos and views galore. Too much fuss about this particular place considering what you can see

The color of water is amazing! The beach is always crowded by people.

Crowded . Beautiful. Cross the water and swim the tunnel-like cave it is realy nice and fun. Impossible to find shadow.

Come here for snorkeling either by boat or better: a catamaran.

Hectic tourist area, but amazing lagoon

Incredible and worth the trip despite all the people. Water is so salty you can float forever.

Escape the crowds by following the path up past the bathrooms and over a small ridge to much less popular and secluded swimming spots.

Yes, it is packed - but it is freaking beautiful. Buy yourself a snorkel and check out the fish .

Tourist trap!!! Don't come here during high season , and if you do, pay the extra five euro to go to the smaller, and more quiet island cominito! It will be the best five euros you've ever invested!!

Do not come here in high season (since June), too many people and no place to sit. Tour operators should limit number of visitors, otherwise none will fully enjoy the beauty of this lagoon.

It's amazing... just be sure that u have at least 3 hours time to explore the island .

This place is just paradise, a bit crowded though.

You have to take a boat tour here when you're in Malta.

Paradoxically, there's barely any access to the water and the queues to go anywhere are phenomenal. But the worst is he filth: bottles floating in the water, rubbish and cigarette ends everywhere.

Get here super early! Place gets packed and you're fighting for a place to sit.

Worth visiting - but avoid the busy summer months as it's packed.

Avoid week ends if u can . And make sure to check also crystal lagoon:)

Wonderful sea but awful beach because of the great number of umbrellas and chairs (also expensive ) that ruin the view
