Awesome park , easy to stop at right off I-70 with our dogs to get them some exercise. Had just snowed and was beautiful. Nice and quiet hike to a bridge over a river on the Conefair Trail .
Try hiking the trails in late fall or winter. You get a different perspective of the landscape without all the vegetation . Also, being the 1st to hike here after a snowfall is an amazing experience.
Nice place to have a picnic , maybe do a little kayaking or canoeing or take a walk. ????????????

The hiking trails around the three lakes are wonderful as well as the long down and back trail through the meadows.
