Beautiful place to sit on deck chairs, taking tea and scones . Very popular place so can get busy. Walk or punt along the river from Cambridge.
Definitely a highlight of my time in England! Easy bike ride from Cambridge. Order tea , enjoy the greenery & birdsong. Take a walk along the river for beautiful scenery . Strong wifi in the garden too!
Nice landscape, lovely sandwiches and scones . The only gripe I have with this beautiful place is the abysmally long service sometimes
Awesome cream tea in a fantastic scenery.
Est. 1897. Popularized 1909 when Rupert Brooke, Virginia Woolf , John Keynes, Forster, Bertrand Russell, Augustus John and Ludwig Wittgenstein became the so called Grantchester group.
Lovely relaxing atmosphere in the gardens . Pop out the back for some nice scenic shots by the river . Scones ok, clotted cream nice.
Deck chairs and lots of space to enjoy your refreshments.Their speciality is tea and scones with clotted cream and jam :)
for the full english cream tea experience. Favoured by locals. Service was great and very kind.
Always lovely to sit in the Orchard and drink tea in the sun and particularly when it is cold and wintery
charming place, perfect for a break during long walk from Cambridge. Some more pictures you can in the link below Read more
Have a scone with clotted cream and jam . Walk here from Cambridge through the meadows along the river .
Good place to hang out with friends and feel oxygenated! Its like a forest beach !
On a summer's day, this is the perfect spot to have tea beneath the apple trees .
Lovely environment, great tea and lovely cakes .
Bring a book to read, it's lovely to sit under the apple trees and enjoy the sun..
Lovely environment but incredibly inefficient service...
Nice environment, joyful birds. But disappointing in general. Poor service and expensive price. Bring you own jam and butter.
Just the most beautiful place for cream teas . Follow in the footsteps of Woolf , Brooke, Keynes and Wittgenstein .
Scones and atmosphere
Delicious scones .
Amazing apples
Best place ever!!! Quaint and English
God’s little acre
Check out Jeffrey Archers house just around the corner
Very picturesque, nice tea/cake but dreadful service and rude staff , what a shame...
Sezlong tarzi koltuklari, bahcesi, mutlaka yenmesi gereken scon... Kesinlikle gidilmeli, huzurla keyifle tadina varilmali doganin, tatlinin, Ingiltere'nin...
The butcher is really good and you get great tips from the staff. The food in the cafe is lovely and staff very friendly. The variety of cheeses is great also. I really love this place. - Maria Jauregui U
Nice soup also licensed! Makes a change to the little chef - Nick
The car park is a complete disaster. £100 fine over overstaying 10 minutes. Be careful how much time you spend enjoying your coffee in store! - Richard Molyneux
Beautiful place good for dog walking romantic walks and picnics - Phie Phobia
Lovely long garden reaching down to Grantchester meadows meaning that the pub is accessible from Cambridge by punt. Great real ales. - Carl Griffin
Fantastic service from friendly staff, food came out in good time and was to a good standard. Portion sizes could be slightly larger though. Free Cloud Wifi too. - Daniel Ley
