No frills, but 24-hr restaurant open downstairs, rooftop pool and free shuttle to and from the airport . Price is right (and includes breakfast ).
I'm not sure if it was just my room or the whole hotel , but there wasn't any hot water. Granted that Panama has tropical weather, but I'll still like a hot shower at night.
Hotel en mal estado . El cuarto olía a orines, la cama era terrible, tenía un resorte que no me dejó dormir. El baño un desastre. Me dio la impresión de que tampoco era limpio.

The views of the canal are great. It's an average chain hotel with a TGIF's. Rates are good and includes buffet breakfast. The canal views keep me coming back. - Holly Border
