Be prepared to pay £21 for a meal or be turned away from an empty restaurant which is 'too busy'. Skylounge is nice though
Costa coffee on-board serves hot snacks after 8pm and croissants at breakfast - much cheaper than the restaurants .
Upgrade your buffet meal voucher to the a la carte restaurant . Much better food for only a few quid more.
Bring blow up pillows to place under the flat ones they provide!

On board all Hull Ferries in main reception area.
Stupid immigration rules on the terminal. Long queues, long waiting time (more than 2 hours). Highly not recommended.
Avoid the band (Trans Atlantic)
If you don't want to be rushed over dinner, the brasserie restaurant is extremely nice - but don't buy your main meal ticket in advance if you plan to eat in the brasserie. - Russ Shack
