There are numbered signs along the way, allowing you to do a self-guided walking tour . I highly recommend this, but be prepared for a lot of walking (and stair climbing)
These are the larger replacements for the 'flight of five' locks that are the namesake of the town . It's nice to see restoration of the originals taking place.
