京都の陶芸家の中で、最も有名な作家ではないだろうか？明治時代から残されたアトリエを改築した美術館 である。裏手にある登り窯には圧倒される。ここに行くと気持ちが大変落ち着く。一人でいくも良し。誰かに紹介するも良し。京都の作家の力強さと繊細 さが風情のある空間と相まって美しい。

付近の駐車場 がゲキ高。東山税務署近くのコインパーキング(30分200円)を使うべし！！
いつもいたネコは来なくなってしまったそうです。
