Gorgeous monument that takes you back in time.The gate dates back to A.D. 180. Tour takes about 35 minutes and info is given in many languages. Climb the steps to have a nice view of the city .

For 4€ you can explore the gate from the inside. Interesting digital exhibition is in the right wing.

Eine der ältesten Hinterlassenschaften in Deutschlands ältester Stadt . Sehr guter Zustand und Zentrumsnah!

Die Porta Nigra ist eine tolle Sehenswürdigkeit im Herzen der Stadt Trier. Sie ist von außen spannend aber auch von innen erlebbar. Von oben hat man noch dazu einen schönen Blick.

Mit der Familienkarte für 8 Euro ist der Besuch relativ günstig . Von oben hat man eine schöne Aussicht auf die Fußgängerzone .

Wer sich für römische Geschichte interessiert ist hier sicherlich gut aufgehoben. Eine weite Anreise lohnt sich aber eher weniger...

DAS Wahrzeichen Triers. Eindrucksvoll... insbesondere auch bei Nacht, wenn keine Touristen mehr da sind.
