U can slip free, if u don't concern about your karma;)stupa is amazing.Lots of souvenir shops and nice roof top cafеs around. Have a cup of Nepali tea enjoying the incredible view .

One of the MUST VISIT places for tourists , go around the stupa in CLOCKWISE DIRECTION (yes it's important), it's called a KORA , go to roof top of any restaurant and enjoy the view . :)

The most important Buddhist temple in Nepal , or probably the second after the Maya Temple in Lumbini.

Tips to enjoy this sacred site: 1) walk clockwise never against. This is a holy act 2) keep good karma pay the 400r fee 3) remove your shoes in temples 4) limit your photography 5) silence is golden

If you want to buy a Mandala (buddhic painting ) take the road to Pashupatinath from the stupa and look to your right: you'll see a workshop where you can buy them for a fair price from the artist !

Wonderful and peaceful place , most guest houses are cleaner and cheaper than in Thamel . For those who want to buy Mandalas (buddhist complex paintings ) do not buy them here they are a rip-off.

Boudhhanath is one of holiest Buddhist stupa of Nepal located at 6 km away from downtown Kathmandu. It was built in fifth century by Lichhavi king Karna Dev.
