When you want Mexican food in downtown Iowa City that's not just burritos or "fusion".

The service is pretty good; very nice people. They bring two kinds of salsa out, both kind of spicy and very good. The food is "okay," a little bland and greasy for me.

Loud and obnoxious, but good for $1 tacos on Tuesdays

Wish they gave out hot sauce of some sort with the food. What Mexican joint doesn't have homemade taco sauce??

Decent food... if it's not a Friday or Saturday night. The past few weekends I've been I got stale chips , burnt nachos , and dry and overcooked rice . I'll stick to margs and stay away from the food.

Get the chicken and rice , sooo delicious!

The refried beans are spectacular.
