Known only to the locals and college students , this caffeteria on top of a library serves aperitivo con buffet for €8. Plus the view of the Duomo is amazing!

Tourists don't come here since it's a student enclave, but it's a wonderful space to grab a drink or light dinner of apertivos - buffet of appetizers , such as pastas & tiny sandwiches (8 euro ).

Haven't had enough of the Duomo? Head here on the second floor of the library for a great evening view . €5 for wine vs. €8 for wine of the region + delicious appetizers ? You do the math.

One of the few cafes in the center that is good for working/studying. Excellent view of the Duomo from the terrace , too!

Aperitivo with a view ! It is a bar/café of a library , there are not many tourists . Aperitivo con bufet starts at 18.30

One of the rare places in town where you can just sit down for ages with a drink and your laptop (especially in the outside area). Free wifi - sign up for a library card to get it.

Great views on top of a library . Unfortunately, most of the tables were reserved when I visited and couldn't try the aperitivo .

Visit the cafe in the library to see the Florence Cathedral in the night!

In the evenings they do a Happy Hour aperitivo which costs 8 euros and there is a little accompanying buffet - closed Sunday, open Monday 2pm-7.30pm, Tuesday-Saturday 9am-midnight.

More of a place hidden from tourist eyes. Which is cool.

Buon aperitivo per 8€. Per il resto migliorabile..soprattutto per quanto riguarda gli snack e i panini durante il giorno. Se a uno prende fame mentre studia, che se magna?

Una moderna caffetteria in un complesso architettonico suggestivo. Una vista della cupola del duomo mentre si sorseggia un caffè e si legge un buon libro non è cosa che si trovi ovunque!

Non mi fidavo e invece ci si può prendere un ottimo aperitivo con vista e senza troppa calca . Ho assaggiato buffet migliori (poco sale contro la ritenzione idrica?)
