Love this place, great vibe and lovely big open space . Great for big groups but equally good for couples. The food was delicious as were our cocktails . Super friendly and efficient service .

Good selection of beers . This place is like a sexed up Bier Keller. Be prepared to wait a while at the bar , bar tenders do one pint at a time and avoid eye contact with you at all cost!

Spätzle with mushrooms and fishcake were good. Nice place, friendly staff and cosy at lunchtime in early January rather than the wall of sound at busy times.

I tried the cronuts and it was not as good as I expected because it was a little bit cold and hard not so crunchy and dough . However, the morning bun was delicious. I did not like the pretzel was hard

If it's busy, try the other side of the bar to save 5-10 minutes. Or just get a bottle of wine and cruise around with it

Staff ignorant. You wait ages to be served whilst coked up deansgate locks types are fawned upon. Extortionate prices attracts the riff raff here rather than discourages them. J Rayner has been duped!

I usually don't enjoy big bars as it makes them a bit soulless, but Schloss is airy, bright and with great atmosphere. Beers are obviously the thing to come here for ???? photobooth downstairs too!

Was really looking forward to it but very disappointing. Slow service at the bar , cold wind coming in through the doors every time they opened, out of 5 different dishes, food arrived cold.
