An obvious stop for anyone interested in Beijing's art scene. 751 D-Park behind (and accessible via) 798 features very bauhaus factory design, and is home to the INTRO electronic festival each May.

I was here 5 years ago and it was a BIG wow then. Visiting again today it has really gone way too commercial. A few good art galleries aside most are now touristy stuff. Cao ChangDi is the new 798.

This used to be full of a lot of public art works and always had some Chinese touristy elements but over the years those seem hard to resist and the nanluoguxiangification is an inevitability
