Great views over Split. Narrow and steep stairs to the bells, then very open (and sort of unprotected) steel stairs to the top.
178/181 steps depending on where to start the count - and you're on the highest Dalmatian tower. Pretty risky but worth it!
I climbed up, was terrified by the stairs , amazed by the views , and handicapped by the muscle pain for days and days afterwards ????

Small temple, later converted into a baptistry. Headless black granite sphinx is guarding the entrance. The most beautiful part of the temple is the amazing ceiling so don't forget to look up. - Bar Barramundi Split, Croatia
