Awesome old town area of Split. Easy to get lost but no one seemed to mind! Everything you need: food, cafe , shops, bars , tours . Really busy but fun.
Diocletian's Palace is a must see in Split. There are a lot of shops and cool cafes . People live within the palace grounds so be careful when your roam around not to end up in someone's backyard ;)
Inside de area of the palace 's full of charm, coffees and restaurants ! I loved too much because of the history. The Croatians are very happy and peacefull .

Ancient home to self-declared immortal. Fascinating history of beheadings followed by feasts so gluttonous, guests often visited the vomitorium. Location of some Game of Thrones shoots ????

Amazing must see while in Split. Great restaurants , of course. The Roman ruins are the highlight & incredibly preserved.
Diocletian’s palace was so interesting to walk through. The town is built into the palace and centered around it as well which is very unique.
It now is an antiques shop . You can also admire the architecture which is pretty stunning. It’s a must when in Split

History that is nicely preserved. Get a walking tour or look up information before you go to really appreciate the magnificence.
Souvenir vendors all around. The museum hosts art exhibitions sometimes. Lovely place, although poorly maintained.
Great at night, you can avoid a large number of tourists and take advantage of the night life all around it.

Take the walk up the bell tower for nice, but not stunning views . Not for the faint of heart with heights. Cost is 20 kuna.
The cellars are an interesting place to visit, especially in the summer when it's too hot outside
