Everything about Crabshakk is great! The food is simply amazing, the atmosphere is delightful and the staff is lovely. If you are a seafood lover, this place is a must go when in Glasgow :)
I'm not a big seafood fan, but I have to say, this place is extremely good. Lovely staff ! The crab cakes are to die for!
Small restaurant but makes up for it in quality! The fish platter for two is out of this world. The staff are brilliant. Tentative and friendly .
A cluster of restaurants have begun to up the city ’s food game. Crabshakk, a tiny seafood restaurant with cramped tables, led the area’s revival and is the go-to venue for Scottish fish and shellfish . Read more
The spider crab , cockles and squats were absolutely delicious, as was the Monkfish Cheek scampi . Can't wait for my next visit!
Although they were fully booked but they managed to sit us close to the bar area. Cosy little place with great sea food and beautiful presentation.
Wonderful seafood ! Great drinks! Super friendly personal ! Quite small, booking is recommended...though they will always try to accommodate you.
Great food along with great playlist. Listening to MJ during the dinner made it unforgettable!! ????
Warm athmosphere, delicious tastes. Friendly staff . Open until late hours.
Really nice fish restaurant - perfect for a date or special occasion . Oysters were particularly nice ????
Great seafood this needs to be on your list
Nice little spot for dinner . Nice date spot with fresh seafood !
Excellent food, service, value. Arrived late with no booking and they managed to fit us in (when someone else joined us they didn't even blink) all good - esp scallops in anchovy sauce, crab cakes ... Read more
Definitely try the scallops and sardines!
Great themed restaurant , small in the entrance but with additional spaces, not accessible for a person in a wheelchair. I would give it 4 1/2 stars in general
Food and atmosphere great. Squid so tasty!
Crab cakes & the langoustines are winners!
Seat at the bar is cool- watch the food being cooked fresh!!
Great food, reasonable price
Book in advance. It's awesome, well worth a detour.
Great seafood
The food is good but the wine is overpriced and the restaurant is very small. Tiny tables crammed together, tiny chairs, tiny spaces between them. If you're over 5ft 8ins you'll struggle. 7/10.
Absolutely fantastic, clams and scallops were superb. Bit hot upstairs though, damn those halogen lights...
I could eat the scollops in anchovy butter all night!
Everything fish related is yum! relaxed cheerful atmosphere, is always busy so getting a table can be difficult but it is worth it when you do.
Crab cakes are a must.
Bloody crab fucking cakes are awesome.
Lovely!
Overrated. Food is decent but not amazing IMHO. Overall experience let down by lack of space
Hell ya. Don't even think about going somewhere else. This is awesome food, dude. _|..|
Seafood! Fruits de mer
Sunday brunch here is absolutely incredible. 12:95 for three courses of absolutely top notch food. Great the rest of the time too, just watch the wine prices. - Sam Macleod
Excellent breakfasts, make sure you ask for two eggs with your full Scottish though, poached is best - Plwm Bwm
Fabulous food. If you take fish platter avoid starters unless you are starving for a few days. - Anton Sulsky
Huge selection of whisky, live music on Tuesday evenings and an open fire in the winter. - Angela Maguire
Very interesting room on St Kilda history and freshwater pearl mussel fishing in Scotland. - Cyril Novel
Really classy place. Very good cocktails and during the summer the beer garden is the place to be in the West End. - Valentin Marinescu
