Really informative museum to escape the rain in. I was particularly struck by how old some civilizations in this corner of the world were as well as the mummies .
If you don't speak Spanish, you'll have a lot of trouble understanding what the significance of many of the artifacts are. But the mummies are pretty amazing.
Nice museum of artifacts and art of Inkan history before and after colonization
Skim through the first floor — the more interesting stuff is upstairs
Great place! A lot of history!
Get a guide at the entrance
Well worth the visit when in Cusco
More english labels would have made this museum a great find in Cusco
Museu maneirinho. A melhor parte são as catacumbas.
Buen museo , podría estar mejor organizado e iluminado
Lindo museo .piezas y muestras interesantes. Falta promocion. Los guias son malisimos.pobres turistas .
10 soles! Vale pelas múmias...

Three great museums in one spot. Don’t miss the outside garden in back side which a is a tribute to multiculturalism. - Sean Howell
Definitely worth seeing before you trek out to Machu Picchu. The English plaques are about a tenth the size of the Spanish ones, though, so bring your reading glasses… - Dave
The first impression is the CLEANLINESS OF Cusco’s Historical Center!!! And then the size and magnificence of the Plaza de Armas. The wooden balconies are just beautiful!!! - Moisés Márquez Trejo
Great and free! My guide Gilmar was awesome. So was my chocolate making class. 5 stars :) - Marta Svece
Best local food is always at the local market, and this place doesn’t disappoint. All type of food option: breakfast section, fruit/ juices, sea food and confort food ???? - Valentina Bordo
