Nice walk from Ella - follow train tracks towards Colombo and right after the metal bridge turn left at the Buddha. Go across the waterfall , turn right, walk across the plantation and then go left&up.

Great for sunrise or sunset or any time of day. View is great. You can get a local guide who will take you up for cca 2000rs, but its easy to walk it alone. Best way is from Kital Ella railway station

Stunning views , be sure to make your ascent before sun rise so it’s not too hot on your way up and you can watch the sun come up over the hills which is amazing!

Really good hike to get to the top. I went there early in the morning, 5.30a.m from the city center. To catch the sunrise deserves the trip!

If you wanna climb up, go to Dream cafe and ask for free map. Stay awere from people midle of tea fields , the offer guide service to top, but is not necessarily. A the end they ask you min. for 1000.

There are two ways to get here. The route from Ella is the shortest and easily followed even without a guide. But it is a fairly steep climb . However worth every bit in the end.

The walk to get to the top has a good combination of nature and local life. Views at the top are really nice.

You don't need a guide, screenshot and follow the directions by the Gap Year Escape blog. Took 3.5 hours roundtrip.

A small mountain top south of Ella with a view of the area. The scenery is nice but the local guides who are trying to push their unnecessary services on you are honestly quite annoying.

Leave early to have a unique experience - easy to find a guide on the way and highly recommended!

Хорошая дорога , сначала по железке, а затем свернуть налево и после моста наверх через чайную плантацию. Открываются красивые виды , дорога достаточно сухая, пиявок или других трудностей не встретили

Отличное место, хотя и очень труднодоступное...) Даже если вершина в тумане - ощущения очень крутые!

Лучше взять гида, чтобы не плутать примерно за тысячу рупий .Подниматься в районе 1,5-2х часов. Вид открывается шикарный.

Дойти сюда можно по карте в Maps.Me. Немного кусают пиявки .
