Wonderful museum and totally worth the visit. A Glasgow must-see!
Amazing museum in the heart of Glasgow Green Park . Might not look all that big, but just as good as other museums in city and a lot to see
Set in the city ’s oldest park , Glasgow Green, is the solid orange stone People’s Palace . It is an impressive museum of social history, telling the story of the city from 1750 to the present.
Situated within Glasgow Green, it provides unique insight into how the people of Glasgow once lived. It has some real life artefacts, prints & photographs . May not be overly exciting for younger kids.

Multicultural place , we took the tour bus from the train station , and I think that was the best introduction..
You can learn lots of funny and interesting stuff, sadly the winter Gardens were closed.
The evolution of housing in Glasgow is pretty interesting.
The palace was built in the late 19th century as a cultural centre for Glasgow’s East End.
It has creative, inventive displays, which are great for families – the kids will love the re-creation of a WWII air raid.
