Be sure to check out the mini town exhibit with store fronts, horse carriages, subway, and cobblestone streets. Also walk around the back and check out the ship; entry is a pwyc donation.
Really interesting museum with loads to see and do, all housed in a great building too! Won European museum of the year in 2013.
For free, it's excellent. It's really informative if you're looking to learn about the history of Glasgow. Although I preferred the old museum , it's still really good and worth a visit.
Great attraction for all the family. So much space for the kids to run around & all of the things they can touch. Love walking down the replica street & best of all, its free entry !
Cool collective of cars, bikes , trains , plus there’s free entry !
Overrun with kids BUT it’s a beautifully designed building inside and out. Take time to do a walk around the exterior if weather’s good.
The building is as interesting as the exhibits themselves. A must visit.
An absolutely must see museum when you’re in Glasgow. Stunning collection and all free!
Fantastic museum with plenty to see. Cars, trains and ships galore with a smattering of other things to keep you interested inc. the free to enter Tall Ship just outside.
Highly recommended for the extensive displays and fun information bits. Check out the tall ship !

I love the architecture of the building. All the exhibits are well presented. And it's Free admission . I liked the old transport museum it had a better atmosphere. My opinion anyway.
Great free museum with lots of interesting and fascinating exhibitions of glasgows past and transport history
Designed by Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid , the museum houses a varied collection, including three recreated Glasgow streets from various points in history, a display of maritime heritage, etc.
Great place with lots to see and experience. The subway was really great!
Great museum , you can get a treasure hunt sheet for the kids at the info desk. Lots of bins outside now, maybe they took notice of the other comment
If you love cars, motorcycles, trains , ships and a good bit of history, this is the place for you.
Great place! Love the streets with authentic shops and the motorbikes and cars! Also had the spicy tuna Mayo baguette in the cafe - well recommended!
Amazing array of transport items. The mock street with subway is great but the trains are spectacular.
You should find the subway car with the film . You don't need to watch it for the full 20 minutes, but it is great.
The Tall Ship is a must, make sure you factor in time to visit - more expansive than you'd think!
Free entry , lots of things to see, beautiful building
If you love history and transport, this is a great place to visit. For free too.
Very busy, the car park is full most of the time. For free parking 5 minutes walk from the museum go to Meadowside St. or near it. Schools are still out so I'd advise a trip in the autumn.
Excellent building, superb stuff inside, however, the cafe is tiny, incredibly tiny!!
Amazing museum and tall ship ????❤ Free entrance
Absolutely love this place. The old street and car wall exhibits are best.
Totally worth to be visited, a large automotive collection.
Wonderful museum . Great exhibition space
This is an amazing place! Great place for inspiration and people watching !
Ancient cars, ancient trains ... You must see them.
Lovely space. Or favourite thing is the Subway.

The Glen Lee is a must visit!
Everything is good here
Designed by Zaha Hadid .
A museum of transportation mainly. Very informative.
Very disapointing compared to the old museum .
Fun day out for the family, shame its not quite the same as kelvin halls.
If you want to see and learn don't go during school holidays!
Free entrance, old cars, many models of ships, old city trains ..
Good place to spend a couple of hours in????
Pack your own picnic little vans outside charge a fortune
Looking amazing, had a preview on Saturday. Love the street and the skateboards.
