This art collection by Sir William Burrell at Pollok Country Park is home to vast collections of medieval art of stained glass , weapons, tapestries , Islamic art , and artifacts from China and Egypt.
The museum house some priceless artifacts , from Japanese ceramics to Medieval tapestries .
Lovely collection of textiles and medieval stained glass.They'll be closing for 4 years of renovations, I'm glad I got the chance to see it!

Amassed by wealthy industrialist Sir William Burrell before being donated to the city , Burrell Collection is housed in an outstanding museum , 3 miles south of the city centre.
Some of the displays are closed due to water ingress, including two of the four galleries in the mezzanine. However, tea + cake = delicious end to the visit.
We love trying to pull faces to match the statues , and lying on the couches to look at the wooden ceiling.
The hiland cows are nice to see and there is a play park
