【国宝 】三門は空門・無相門・無作門の三解脱門の略。南都六宗寺院 の中門にあたります。東福寺は新大仏と呼ばれるような巨大な本尊を安置するなど南都二大寺に影響を受け、この三門は大仏様(天竺様)、禅宗様(唐様)、和様をたくみに組み合わせた建造方式となっている。五間三戸、重層入母屋造、両脇に階上へのぼる山 廊を設けた、日本最大最古の遺構です。
東福寺 三門は、知恩院 三門と並び、日本最大級の三門。その大きさには圧倒されます。いずれも国宝 に指定されています。
特別拝観中！仏像と建物自体について、上で生 解説してくれて、勉強になります。
4月下旬から5月上旬まで、特別に三門を公開してるそうです！登りました！
