Coming here regularly since 1994 It's almost timeless. Menu never changes why should it when dishes are perfect. Clams in clam sauce , roast chicken , caldo verde, simple salad , fried rice , bread ftw!
A large group: we had chorizo , pasteis de bacalhau and olives for starters, then a whole grilled chicken , baked veal , pork ribs , sardines, clams , salad and this cod fish . All amazing! Great staff :)
Fun, local, lively , fabulous Portuguese fare and delicious sangria . Arrive early to nab a table and finish with a last drink in the patio .
Pastel de bacalhau, Chouriço, sangria , bife a cavalo . Authentic 'local and neighbor' Portuguese/Brazilian restaurant . A must to try if you are in Macau.
It may be a touristy place, but it's is still great fun nonetheless. Good food, totally relaxed stuff, loads of space. Make booking - the place fills up quickly.
Everything was as good as advertised. We had cod , chicken , pig , fish , salad , beer and bread . Awesome. Come here and just enjoy the food, and the heat.
It's so hard to get here from Macau -- there's only a bus that comes every half hour. But the sangria , clams , pork are amazing, and venue by the hac saw beach as welll
Unbelievable food! Pig , prawns , clams , chorizo , etc..... People warned me the service was poor but I found it to be very good. Great wines as well . Highly recommend.
The go to tourist restaurant in Macau, nevertheless good food in a relaxed but very noisy atmosphere. Have A beer in the garden before or after.
Clams are wonderful. If any of the claimed health benefits of garlic are true, I should be in incredible shape now.
Technically not in Hong Kong, but deserves a place on this list because it is the *best* chorizo around hands down. The BBQ chicken and chips are also cooked to perfection. Wash down with Superbok.
The clam is really juicy wv garlic sauce , grilled chicken is very nice- grilled wv charcoal. Suckling pig is not their strong dish I would say. Definitely worth trying though.
The famous "Bitoque", aka Steak , and, of course the Roasted Chicken . As for desserts , the homemade pudding is highly recommended.
They whip up some of the best tasting sangrias ! They let the sweetness fool you, it's a definite creeper
A must to try if you are in Macau. An authentic experience if you were in a small local restaurant in Portugal.
The "Bife com Ovo à cavalo " is awesome ! "Carne De Vaca Estufada": the meat is extremely tender
Must try clams , chicken , chorizo , steak and cod . Be careful not to fill up on complimentary bread !!!!
Amazing Portuguese Chicken and Garlic Shrimp BUT bring CASH! They do not accept credit cards!
perfect spot for a cozy dinner . their can book a 9 seats van for you to leavr this remote area
Great value , tasty & excellent...of Portuguese foods in Macau
In summer, try to get a table under a ceiling fan; this place gets pretty hot! Also - cash only .
Try stuffed squid . Its serving in the small cute pot with some fried rice just blowing my mind
The Foodie Forks 2014 Most Marvellous Macau Restaurant (readers' choice ) laid back Portuguese restaurant and open air bar with good food
A favourite among expats and locals alike, this restaurant is always busy. Try the suckling pig - one of Fernando's signature dishes.
Authentic Portuguese Restaurant ! Must try for travelers. though a bit far from the city .
Fried rice was really good. The atmosphere is vacation island restaurant-like
Suckling pig and the sangria is a must try
The food is awesome, the service wonderful and the ambience great.
Absolutely amazing Portuguese in Macao. Cash only . Order the suckling pig
As customary with most asian restaurants , dishes are meant for sharing. Try the chorizo , bacalao, chargrilled sardines and the pudim.
Grilled Sardines , suckling pig & prawns in Vl sauce washed down with Vinho Verde
Everything!!! The best place to eat in Macau.
Simple, but fast and soo tasty!
Fun selection of Portuguese wines , always decanted. Go see the shelf.
Great experience with amazing vegetable soup and rice ...
Very nice place and experience with the hash last night
Suckling pig , prawns in clam sauce
CASH ONLY ! Apart from that - this place is a must visit.
The prawn with garlic is awesome!!!
Food is too salty and the staff keep ignoring us. The location is too far, quite hard to reach the restaurant .
I recommend grilled sardines
Must have: bolinhos de bacalau hot and crispy .
Overrated. The prawns with clam sauce were ok. But only ok. The sauce was not something that I would go "wow" on. It was merely verging on tasty.
Best batatas (French fries ) and molho piri piri ever!
Chorizo , clams in garlic sauce
Prawns in clams sauce are divine! Worth all the journey to Macau
The bread to take the clam source...
Left without ordering as they are unwilling to substitute potatoes for salad . Dumb tourist trap.
The Asian hostess here is really cute .
