The best part is the architecture---amazing space designed by Tadao Ando . The three chattering bots were also very fun.
Beautiful space to walk around, and a great café . Free for hotel guests
Great space on top of a hill . Get here through the bus service from the port . They have a cafe , a restaurant and a gift shop .
Museum only -- pretty neat museum with a bunch of modern art . Cool architecture , and nice art . But be aware if you want to see the Oval (Designed by Tadao Ando ) you must be a hotel guest .
Such a beautiful place. If you are visiting Japan and like art and architecture , this place must be on your bucket list.
A selection of most of the well know artists of the last century. Seems like someone had a list and went art shopping. Nice to look at but feels like looking at an art catalogue/text book . Nice space.
Nice big museum build of concrete. The view out to the see is amazing.
The weakest of them three museums in the island but beautiful place to be around. Don’t miss by no chance the other two.
Amazing architecture with amazing artworks! Cy Twombly, David Hockney, Donald Judd, Bruce Nauman , Richard Long...
Visited many times the garden and was also in the hotel during the Triennale Setouchi Art and during a concert . Very interesting building!
Amazing! The museum is fantastic and staying at the house was extra special
Excellent collection of art works but the building's architecture outshines the content.
Great hotel stay un oval rooms to see Tadeo Ando oval piece. Open on Mondays also
An architectural marvel. Sure the art is good too :)
Beautiful building, view and artworks. Food and coffee is expensive and not amazing.
Small Modern Art museum with amazing views
love the location of the '100 Live and Die' by Bruce Nauman , amazing view outside
Food here is really terrible!! Pre fixed menu and No room service either. This is a very overrated hotel . Definitely not worth the price. Go and have dinner at NAKAOKU great food and a la carte menu.
Enjoy. Only inspiration waiting ahead..:
The exhibits
Ando design
Good but busy, the restaurant is horrible crowded so eat somewhere else.

Very small and limited. Don't expect too much

Cafe is next to the shop on the 3rd flr. Must try the area's specialty: Setouchi Olive Pop! Food is seasonal and we had pumpkin soup that look thin but was actually rather creamy and yummylicious! - Elle
Traditional Japanese meal - with 8 courses, I was more than satisfied and stuffed! - Eileen Lee
Completely worth it. Pricey but the sensations and feelings you can get is amazing - Yezi E B
This museum is a great display of Ufan's work in a superb Ando construction, but if you're not into his work (it's not flashy)-and you have limited time-this would be a place to skip. I ❤️ it though! - Gregory Fisher
The architecture is amazing❤️ Very small museum with some architecture models and drawings. - Bo
Incredible. Try to go at sunset or a little later. - Alex Britt
