Beautiful park . Expansive. The car audio tour is very good and you can get the CD in the shop for around $5. Lots of good vantage points from different siege works.
Try to make one of the ranger talks here, really summarizes the whole battle and connects all the dots, will make your trip that much more memorable.
The battlefield was amazing. It was only a short distance from the US Coast Guard Reserve Training Center, where I served in the 1980s to 1990s. The Yokrtown Victory Center museum was awesome

Nice place to have a view of battlefield . And it is near the sea shore, nice to have a nap on the sands.
Take the driving tour and walk the old town
Maps and directional signs were were very confusing.
Very touching experience.
Well worth a drive.

Pack a lunch and picnic around the area.
Free admission if you have National Parks pass.
Don't go when it is 100+ degrees😐

This museum is fantastic. The extensive exhibits are really interactive and alone would be worth it but the encampment and interactive outside exhibits are amazing and worth every second. - James C
