Basic but has everything you need as a base for exploring the city . No problems with noise & had a lovely river & tower view .
Tend to agree with the other comments. Quite noisy and basic but then what do you expect for £19 a night. We used it as a stop over point on a long journey and its fine for that!
Handy location, within walking distance of most of York's main attractions
Basic hotel , don't forget your toothpaste is it will cost you £2 for a tiny tube, avoid if you are a light sleeper as Geese nearby will squawk and keep you awake all night!
Spend that bit extra and stay at Premier Inn as they don't have the noise
Avoid at all costs. Noise levels unacceptable from Stag & Hen parties using the hotel . Travelodge more interested in filling their rooms with them than worrying about genuine fee paying customers.

Best hotel showers I've ever had! & friendly staff, good buffet breaky. Wifi only free for one hour & then you need to wait 3 hours to get more, which is odd... - hello_emily
Great food choices especially of you are counting calories or gluten free. Including options for desert :) - Lisa Spann
