An oversized egg cup, the tall pillar in the heart of Vilnius’ breakaway republic Užupis (where every dog has the right to be a dog) finally gave birth to a long awaited angel.
Explore Angel of Užupis skulpture and the Constitution of Užupis nearby. Copies of the constitution, declared April first 1997, translated to eight languages, can be found on a wall on Paupio street.
